Postpartum & Women's Health

Postpartum and Women’s Emotional Health Therapy in South Carolina

Motherhood, relationships, responsibilities, hormonal changes, emotional overload, and the pressure to keep showing up for everybody else can leave a lot of women feeling mentally and emotionally exhausted. Sometimes women expect themselves to feel grateful, happy, and connected all the time, then feel guilty or ashamed when they’re actually overwhelmed, anxious, emotionally drained, or struggling to recognize themselves anymore.

You may find yourself:

• feeling overwhelmed or emotionally overstimulated
• struggling with anxiety, sadness, or irritability
• feeling disconnected from yourself or your identity
• constantly worrying about your children or family
• feeling touched out, mentally exhausted, or burned out
• struggling with guilt for needing time to yourself
• feeling pressure to be “everything” for everybody
• having difficulty balancing motherhood, relationships, and responsibilities
• feeling alone even when surrounded by people
• missing the version of yourself before survival mode took over

Therapy can provide a space where you no longer have to keep pushing your feelings aside just to make it through the day. Together we’ll work on helping you feel more emotionally supported, grounded, understood, and connected to yourself again while navigating the challenges that come with womanhood, motherhood, relationships, and everyday life.
